Job Description
As our Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping our brand voice and enhancing our visibility. You will work closely with marketing and operations teams to develop communication strategies that resonate with our audience while ensuring a consistent and engaging message across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop compelling written content for our website, blog, social media, and promotional materials that highlight our unique offerings.
- Social Media Management: Oversee and curate our social media channels, creating engaging posts that drive audience interaction and elevate brand awareness.
- Email Marketing: Design and implement email marketing campaigns to inform customers of new adventures, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
- Media Relations: Build relationships with local and national media outlets to secure coverage of our events and activities, enhancing our reputation in the industry.
- Market Research: Analyze audience engagement and feedback to inform future communication strategies and enhance customer experiences.
- Event Coordination: Support the marketing team in organizing events, ensuring effective communication before, during, and after events to optimize engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communications or marketing roles, preferably in the tourism or outdoor recreation sectors.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and digital content management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
